Community Integration/Education, is the most critical component. Every member in the community has to feel that they are a part of the community or have a voice in decisions affecting their community.
Each person has to integrate in some aspect of the community if they are going to reverence their community. N.E.E.D. aims to improve the image and physical appearance of the community, empower the residents by revealing the way we all are interconnected, and promote the sustainment of Eatonville by securing private dollars.
With the organization’s CINS/FINS Program, nonresidential services are provided to children, ages 6-17, in Orange County. We provide effective prevention and intervention strategies, case management services, centralized intake process, quality service delivery, activities and group mentoring that will result in meeting the core needs of the youth and family, as well as focus on maintaining and strengthening the family as a whole so that children may remain in their homes and communities. We offer other innovative services and enhancements to accomplish our goals.
Our philosophy is that while we have the opportunity to intervene to stabilize children in their homes, we also want to take the opportunity to help them learn positive decision-making skills, avoid pre-delinquent behaviors, avoid drug/alcohol usage, communicate better in their homes and communities, as well as improve academically.
